Law Leaders Lab: The New Home of the Law Firm Transitions Blog

Welcome to the Law Leaders Lab blog page, the new home of the Law Firm Transitions blog.

For those new to Law Firm Transitions, my name is Debra Baker and I started the blog in 2010 as a forum for driving conversation about what lawyers need to do to respond to the dramatic changes taking place in the legal market. If you are interested in learning more about why these issues are important to me, I’d encourage you to read my inaugural post:  “The Birth of the Law Firm Transitions Blog.

The drivers behind the blog mirror those that inspired me to create Law Leaders Lab, a consulting firm launched this year to focus on helping lawyers build better law businesses. At Law Leaders Lab, we believe in the power of the legal profession to help their clients use the law to solve problems and take advantage of opportunities.

Because the mission behind both Law Firm Transitions and the company are the same, it seemed appropriate to merge the blog with our company website.

Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing the early results of our proprietary research focused on how clients define “value” in the context of legal services. We encourage you to subscribe to our blog feed and our newsletter so that you can be notified when we start publishing.

In the meantime, welcome to Law Leaders Lab and the new home of the Law Firm Transitions blog. We welcome you feedback and insights into what the legal profession can do to improve the way they serve clients.
